Largest student-run rodeo in the NATION! The gates open at 6pm and the show starts at 8pm.

The UGA Block and Bridle Club is hosting a new Great Southland Stampede Rodeo on April 16-18, 2020. The Great Southland Stampede Rodeo will be held in the UGA Livestock Instructional Arena located at 2600 S Milledge Ave Athens, GA

Rodeo contests are divided into two categories: rough stock events that are scored by a judge (bareback bronc riding, saddle bronc riding, and bull riding), and speed events (barrel racing, steer wrestling, breakaway roping, team roping, and calf roping). Contestant entry permitting, each event will be held every night at the Great Southland Stampede Rodeo. Food and drink vendors will be present on site. Please no outside food unless there is an allergy issue. Non-food vendors will be present as well, with items ranging from boots and hats to jewelry and other items. There will be a "Kids Zone" with activities such as face painting, petting zoo, pony rides, photo booth, roping dummies, and corn hole.
