We had a little extra help around the Y this Saturday!

We were so grateful to welcome our friends from UGA Dawg Day of Service to the YWCO! They spent their Saturday giving back, lending a helping hand, and helping us care for the place we’re proud to share with our community.

Days like this are a beautiful reminder that service isn’t just about the work being done — it’s about people coming together, giving their time, and making a difference in the spaces that bring our community together.

Thank you, UGA, for spending your Saturday serving with us! We’re so grateful for your hard work, your generosity, and your willingness to help make the Y a better place for everyone.

Marianne, one of our amazing YWCO instructors, had the opportunity to head over to the Girl Scouts of Historic Georgia to join our friends for some Fun with Movement!

It’s always so much fun when Marianne gets to take her love of movement outside the YWCO and share it with our community. We’re so glad she got to spend some time with the Girl Scouts and bring her energy, enthusiasm, and love of fitness along with her!

Halloween at the YWCO is going to be spooktacular!

Bring the whole family and join us for a night of Halloween fun, sweet treats, and community! We’re filling the YWCO with activities for all ages, including Trunk-or-Treat, a bouncy house, a DJ, fall-themed games, a costume contest, and so much more.

Come dressed in your favorite costume, bring your friends and family, and get ready for a night full of spooky fun and memories!

We’re excited to welcome Charlie and Conner, two UGA students who will be joining us this semester as interns and bringing some fresh energy, new ideas, and plenty of enthusiasm to the Y!

Charlie is majoring in Advertising at UGA and will be joining us as our Marketing & Communications Intern, helping us tell the YWCO story, connect with our community, and bring our programs and events to life.

Conner is majoring in Business Management and will be serving as our Operations Intern, gaining hands-on experience while helping support the day-to-day operations that keep the YWCO running.

We’re so excited to have them both on board and can’t wait to see all they’ll bring to the team this semester. Help us give Charlie and Conner a big YWCO welcome! We’re glad you’re here!
