A respected leader and proven developer of talent, Mark joins Athens United after years of impactful service in the local game, including his time as Director of Alliance Soccer Club in Jefferson. His reputation speaks for itself—but it’s his passion, character, and commitment to players that make this moment truly special.
“Words don’t do justice to the excitement I feel about adding Mark to the club,” said Sporting Director Jason Lockhart. “From day one, Keidane and I set out to unite this community and create a clear, elevated pathway for players of all levels. Bringing Mark into Athens United is another powerful step toward that vision becoming reality.”
For over a decade, Mark has been a cornerstone of the soccer community—building relationships, developing players, and raising the standard wherever he’s been. Now, he brings that same energy and excellence to Athens United.
“Adding someone as respected as Mark—both as a coach and as a person—shows exactly who we are and where we’re going,” Lockhart added. “This is about bringing the very best together for the benefit of our players and our community. We couldn’t be more excited for the impact he’s going to make.”
