Blast from the past….

We have finally packed up the old bike shop after over 10 years here in Kirkwood . Needed to make room for our landscape shop so we are taking quite the collection of bikes and parts over to Sopo Bike Cooperative to donate to folks that need them. Hard to let go of so many collected and vintage items! It’s been a ton of fun over the years- many shop parties, alleycat races, late night fabrication, paint jobs and all the hijinks that go down at a bike shop- we’ve had them all and will always remember the good times and everyone that supported us . We built up and donated tons of bikes for our Bikes For Kidz program and feel we made a good impact on our community. Thanks to everyone that has been to and supported the shop, see ya out there on the road !

We will be there next week for this Alleycat like no other will you? Race, Ride, Participate or Volunteer- Just be there!

Join CAFE + VELO the second Sunday in August for the first annual Le Tour de Cat 3-stage alleycat and raffle! With time-trials, a 'sprinter stage', and a 'climbing stage', this alleycat will test all levels of cycling in a unique race format. 🚴🚴‍🚵🏼🏁

Hey cycling friends- The bike shop is still around! Mostly for us and our friends to work on our own bikes, but we have not done any community outreach lately, we have just all been so busy with our jobs, families, shredding etc. (Hope to do another Bikes for Kids campaign this Christmas) If you are interested in donating bikes, parts or good works, please look up and like Bearings Bike Shop. They teach kids to work on bikes and let them put in shop hours to earn their own ride- just as we hoped to set up KRC. This is a great organization! Please give them a like and we will see you out there on the roads and trails. Thanks always for your support of the shop and the ATL cycling community- Ride a Bike!

Spotted a solid ride group of 30+ tonight- Meets @ Beltline Bikes Wed nights at 7:30- next week let's ride in gorilla suits

Critical Mass tonight! 6:30 Ride out from Woodruff Park, followed by Pizza and Beer Fundraiser at Angel's for our friend that was hurt on the road. Be there and bring cash to donate to help this man recover!
