👉🏾If your goal is to drop weight and shred. Do cardio first. Then hit the weights.
👉🏾If you want to bulk up or gain muscle, lift first, then do cardio after.
I’m currently in shred mode so my cardio for the next few weeks will be 30 minute spin bike sessions. Followed by 40-60 mins of weight training. I’m tryna be lean and mean 😤

Origin of the word diet:
Greek word diaita which means “way of life”
So if you don’t see your current diet as a “way of life” then maybe it’s time to find something that is.
Personally, eating red meat & poultry wasn’t going to be my “way of life”. Since becoming pescatarian I’ve seen physical changes. I’ve had mental changes as well.

On August 11, 2011, I broke my femur during fall camp. I was told I might not be able to play football again. To be honest, I believed it.
-
This was my first dose of depression. Not being able to walk, carry my own things or even tie my shoes. I felt vulnerable & lost faith. I didn’t understand why this was happening to me after a great summer of training.

I had someone tell me something so simple. “Control what you can control while manifesting what you believe in”
-
Those words stuck with me, but I fully understand them now. Adversity isn’t a burden-it’s a pleasure. It gives you the chance to show who you truly are.
-
If you truly believe in yourself then adversity is an obstacle in your way. I challenge you to manifest what you want this week. Believe in it through positivity this week & I promise you’ll have it.

📅30 DAY CHECK IN 📅

It’s roughly 30 days since I’ve transitioned into being a pescatarian and this is what I’ve found out:
1️⃣This s**t hard as f**k. I’m not going to even lie. 🥴
2️⃣It can get a little pricey at times🤑
3️⃣Didn’t realize how much I missed wings and turkey burgers.🍔
4️⃣My mental and body feels better compared to previously starting🧠💪🏾
5️⃣Sushi has become my best friend‼️

This transition has been tough mentally and physically since my body has been dependent on a certain food. This is the first step into becoming vegan for me. I’ll keep y’all posted 😉.Wish me luck‼️
