There are three things we all should do every day...and number three is, you should have your emotions moved to tears, could be happiness or joy.

I have always been an emotional guy and when I was young society taught me that it is wonderful to express your emotions through laughter but a weakness to express them through tears. At some point in my life, I do not remember the exact moment, I said fu...screw that.

Artificial intelligence is preserving our ability to converse with Holocaust survivors even after they die 08/31/2020

One of the most powerful stories in the history of 60 Minutes, I saw it when it originally aired and I cried and I cried when I watched the re-run again this morning on the DVR. The holocaust should never be forgotten and this is such a wonderful project. I could watch this story every day for the rest of my life and I am not sure I would ever stop crying. Thanks to everyone involved.

I cry not just for this young woman but that some people in our country do not understand the difference between IMMORAL & ILLEGAL. Trying to make a better life for your family is NOT only NOT immoral but the American Dream. We all break laws.

The demagogue and the Democrats: Trump spits in the face of American values; the opposition party has no clue how to respond 07/22/2019

It feels like I am almost constantly these days having conversations with friends and strangers alike about Trump and the future of our country. I truly believe our democracy is in trouble, that we just may be on the precipice of some really horrible you know what, worse than the really horrible you know what that is already taking place in our country.

More often than not their response is something to the effect of, hey, this is the United States, that kind of thing does not happen here, we will be OK. I appreciate the optimism, I tend to be a bit of a pessimist, I call it being realistic, and I do think we will probably be OK as long as Trump is defeated in 2020. This country will never be the same post Trump, but we should be OK.

On the other hand I am scared to death of what happens if he is re-elected so, of course, it takes a Russian chess grandmaster to perfectly say what I keep trying to tell people in our conversations about Trump and the future of our country. Democracy is actually a fragile thing and needs to be fought for, tooth and nail, and I fear that the Democrats are fumbling the ball, so to speak.

This is a must read, please share with anyone you know that ever says, hey, this is the United States, that kind of thing does not happen here, we will be OK.

The demagogue and the Democrats: Trump spits in the face of American values; the opposition party has no clue how to respond Like nearly everyone else to ever leave his homeland, I would like to go back to where I came from. I would like to have continued to live in my native Baku, Azerbaijan, where my family and I were driven out by ethnic pogroms against Armenians in 1990, as the Soviet Union began to collapse. I would....

I have not been posting much as I have not prioritized this page in my life but I am going to try and create a new habit.

This segment on CBS Sunday Morning is a heart breaker, I can not imagine the fear, pain and confusion that comes from someone you love just disappearing and not knowing if they are dead or alive.
