The R J Childers game of the week the Cass Lady Colonels were victorious against Allatoona 6-2 on Tuesday at Cass High School to get a big region win!

Allatoona struck 1st getting 1 run in the top of the 5th but Cass took control of the game in the bottom of the 5th, scoring 6 runs on 4 hits to take the lead, 6-1. The spark in the inning was an Inside the Park HR by Natalie Hughes that drove in 3.

Kylie Gentry earned the win for the Lady Colonels she gave up 6 hits and 2 runs (1 earned) over 7 innings, striking out 6.

Natalie Hughes led Cass with three RBI's as she went 2 for 4 on the day.

Cass Lady Colonels Softball got big Region win over Dalton 8-0 on Tuesday.

Kylie Gentry got the win for the Lady Colonels. She had 2 hits and 0 runs in 5 innings, 8 strike outs, with 1 walk. Lily Powell threw 1 shutout inning for Cass in relief. The pitcher surrendered no hits, 1 strikeout and no walks!

The Lady Colonels had 10 hits in the game today! Walker and Gentry each collected 2 hits for Cass. Bauder, Caspari, Woods, and McFarlane each a RBI in the game. Cass had a good eyes at the plate, piling up 6 walks.
