After a rocky start to the day the girls turned it around by game 3 and didn’t let the foot off the gas. They made it to the championship game and then dug deeper and won 11-4. Ending the day 3 & 2! Proud of them! It’s not how you start but how you finish & they finished great today! Great job, NGF!

We are beyond excited to announce that Lyla Brooke has officially committed to continue her academic and softball career at Andrew College! This is such a well-earned milestone, and we couldn’t be more proud of her for the hard work, dedication, and heart she has poured into the game.

North Georgia Freedom truly wouldn’t be the same without LB. Her humor, positivity, and constant drive to learn and get better bring so much life to our team. She has a rare ability to keep things lighthearted while still pushing herself and her teammates to grow. Loved by everyone around her, Lyla is always supportive, always encouraging, and always reminding us why we play this game in the first place.

Andrew College is getting an incredible athlete and an even better teammate. We can’t wait to watch this next chapter unfold—so proud of you, LB! 💙🥎

Congratulations to Aniya Burns!!! She is taking her talents to Berea College, where she will continue her education and compete at the collegiate level.

A true bulldog behind the plate for North Georgia Freedom, #33 controls the game with toughness, competitiveness, and a strong, accurate arm you don’t want to test. With a powerful bat and an infectious smile, she impacts the game in every way.

As her coaches, we are incredibly proud of the hard work, determination, and countless hours she has put in behind the scenes to reach this next chapter. We know she will continue to work hard and prove to be a valuable asset to the Berea softball program.

The journey continues and we look forward to watching her at the next level.

Makenna is the kind of athlete every coach dreams of. Makenna is a quiet but powerful teammate in her leadership, steady in her work ethic, grounded deeply in her faith, and always ready with a smile that helps the whole team.

Makenna leads by example on and off the field, showing consistency, reliability, and a maturity well beyond her years. Coachable, determined, and never afraid of hard work. She brings excellence to every practice and every game. And she balances it all while maintaining a strong 3.5 GPA.
