Ran 11 hill sprints yesterday (most I’ve done)
I’ll be 32 in July & I look and feel better than I did at 23. I have a 3 year old son.
10 years ago I began this journey.
I don’t come from an in shape, no medicine, poor health related disease free family.
I played sports but I still wasn’t healthy. I ate whatever. Had little to no understanding of nutrition.
Once volleyball ended my workout routine ended with it.
I was kicking it, going to school and eating whateverrrr.
And the weight began to catch up to me. I wasn’t happy in my clothes. I wasn’t happy with what I saw in the mirror.
I started training with and everything changed….in the beginning it was ugly, hard, challenging. But I’ve stuck with it 10 years later.

Key things to take away from this post….
🔑 Life be lifing sometimes and we fall off track with getting to the gym….when that happens do these 2️⃣ things and they will give you a better outcome when you get back to the gym!
☝🏽 Prioritize Protein ~ aim to consume 1g per ideal body weight (protein with each meal and snacks)
✌🏽Aim to increase you daily steps ~ the recommended is 10K/day = 5 miles…..if that is overwhelming, double what you’re currently doing
The goal is to strive for Progress👍🏽……. 🚫 Perfection
