The weather had other plans yesterday afternoon, but our coaches and players made the most of the morning and early afternoon games while they lasted. Reminder: there are no games or practices over Labor Day weekend. Games will resume September 12!
The Orr family of Murphey Candler painted a lot of faces at the park yesterday, and donations went toward their Breakthrough T1D Walk Team, Team Mae Mae. They raised $1,222.25! Way to show up, MCB.

Earlier this year, the daughter of an MCB family was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes. This Saturday, the Orrs are hosting a Face Painting tent at the park to raise funds for their Breakthrough T1D Walk team, Team Mae Mae, which supports critical Type 1 Diabetes research.

It was a great (and incredibly hot) first day of fall ball yesterday. Thanks to the players for bringing energy, effort and a love for the game, and to our coaches for their time and leadership. We’re looking forward to a great season!
