A baby shower is about more than celebrating a new life.

It’s a reminder that every decision we make today becomes part of someone else’s starting point tomorrow.

We’re not just hoping for a better future. We’re building one.

Family growing.

Curses breaking.

And none of it happens by accident.

Somebody has to do the work.
Somebody has to make different choices.
Somebody has to be willing to endure what’s hard so the next generation doesn’t have to carry what they inherited.

Too many people think they need a complicated workout plan to get results.

You don’t.

You need movement patterns that challenge strength, coordination, stability, and conditioning all at the same time.

Try this full-body circuit Monday:

✅ Box Walk Overs × 20
✅ DB Sn**ch × 12 each side
✅ Lateral Lunge to Front Raise × 10 each side

Run 3-4 rounds. Rest as needed.

This workout trains your legs, core, shoulders, and cardiovascular system while improving balance and athleticism.

The goal isn’t to make the workout harder.
The goal is to make your body more capable.

Start the week by doing something that moves you forward.

Every time I watch this back, it cracks me up😂

Because that was my natural reaction. It’s a reminder… yeah, the beauty of a woman can captivate you, no doubt.

But you don’t have to pick every flower you see. Sometimes you just sit back, admire the beauty, and keep your focus.

Because what captivates can also distract.

So make sure what you see lines up with what you truly want, and keep it player.

Last time I posted this, some people, men and women lost their 💩 over the words “submissive” and “control.”

But don’t let your relationship with a word ruin your understanding of the message.

Let’s be clear:
There is nothing wrong with a woman being submissive to a man she feels safe with, if he respects that privilege and never abuses it.
And fellas... when a woman is pouring into you the way you need…

You might not realize it, but your behavior starts to shift too.

That influence, aka “control” isn’t a bad thing when it’s rooted in love, trust, and safety.

Let’s stop reacting and start reflecting.

Some lessons can’t be researched.

You won’t hear them in a podcast.
You won’t see them in a motivational reel.
And no AI can replace sitting across from somebody who’s actually lived it.

The older I get, the more I realize wisdom isn’t always taught.

Sometimes it’s hidden in a story.
Sometimes it’s tucked inside a joke.
Sometimes it’s in the way your mom, dad, grandparent, auntie, uncle, or OG sees the world after decades of wins, losses, mistakes, and growth.

Most people are searching for answers while ignoring the people around them who already have experience.

Slow down.
Ask questions.
Listen longer.

Because one conversation can save you years of learning the hard way.

And while you’re learning from their experiences, don’t forget to build your own.
