Local 72's Annual Golf Tournament

We are excited to share that our 5th Annual Charity Golf Tournament has officially reached full capacity for team registrations—over a month ahead of our registration deadline!

Thank you to everyone who has signed up and continues to support this event. Your enthusiasm and commitment are truly appreciated.

While player spots are no longer available, we are still accepting sponsors and donations to help make this event a success and further support Kids’ Chance of Georgia, Inc.

2025 Local 72 4th Annual Charity Golf Tournament. We extend our gratitude to all members, volunteers, sponsors, and friends who participated.

The weather is holding! Unless there is a dramatic change in the weather, Local 72's 4th Annual Charity Golf Tournament will take place tomorrow! Here are all the important details:

The tournament will be held this Saturday, June 7th, at Whitewater Creek Country Club in Fayetteville. The address is 175 Birkdale Drive, Fayetteville, GA 30215.

Registration starts at 7:30am. Breakfast is being provided by Anthem. Chick-fil-A biscuits and donuts will be available.

The shotgun start will be at 9:00am.

Additional raffle tickets will be available for purchase at check-in and throughout the day. The ladies will come around on golf carts for you to purchase more. The cutoff for raffle ticket sales will be right before lunch begins.

Lunch will be served at 1:00pm with the raffle drawing to follow.

TOURNAMENT UPDATE:

We are looking forward to welcoming ALL of you to our 4th Annual Charity Golf Tournament on Saturday, June 7th. However, we wanted to let all our attendees know there is a CHANCE the tournament may have to be delayed or rescheduled due to potential inclement weather. The extended forecast is calling for lots of rain and scattered storms leading up to the tournament. With this in mind, we are working with management at the golf course to determine any potential delays or rescheduling due to excessive water on the course or severe weather/lightning.

Founded in 1988, Kids’ Chance has a mission to provide educational scholarships to the children of Georgia workers who have been seriously or fatally injured. Since their founding, they have assisted over 300 students and raised more than 6 million dollars. UA Local 72 is pleased to have added over $120,000 to that total through the past three golf tournaments and is eager to continue our support for this charity.

Our 2024 3rd Annual Charity Golf Tournament is off to a great start! This years tournament is our biggest yet and we can’t wait to make this year even better than last!

Founded in 1988, Kids’ Chance has a mission to provide educational scholarships to the children of Georgia workers who have been seriously or fatally injured. UA Local 72 is pleased to have added $90,000 to that total through the past two golf tournaments and is eager to continue our support for this charity.
