Nyjah Huston got smashed again — fractured jaw, broken cheekbone, lacerated kidney — and still talking about getting back on the board soon. That’s the difference between real skateboarders and people who will never understand this life. This ain’t about money, fame, or proving anything to anybody. Skateboarding is pain, sacrifice, obsession, and love all mixed together. He already accepted the risks a long time ago, because nothing makes him feel more alive than skating. Respect to Nyjah for staying solid through the worst and still pushing forward. Real ones know… we keep sending no matter what.

Skateboarding changed global culture, but the money still can’t compete with billion-dollar sports leagues. In 2026, no pro skater made the top 50 highest-paid athletes while stars like Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi earned over $100 million.
Skateboarding is still built on passion, rebellion, and creativity — not massive paychecks.
