The first cut of the season this morning for the ryegrass on the range tee. Thank you for your patience while the grass has been growing in over the past couple of weeks. It was an amazing morning yesterday for class number four of our fall PGA HOPE series at Charlie Yates. This is our largest PGA HOPE session ever, with 30 veterans enrolled and 6 total instructors from Yates, East Lake, and Druid Hills. It was special to have senior representatives join from the PGA of America, Georgia PGA, Arthur M. Blank Family Foundation, PGA TOUR Superstore, and AMB Sports and Entertainment to see the impact that this incredible program is having on veteran’s lives. The vision of PGA HOPE is to create a meaningful community and a lasting sense of belonging for those who have bravely served our nation. Through the power of golf and PGA HOPE, veterans find continued connections, build confidence and rediscover a sense of purpose both on and beyond the course.
