Hornets Cheerleading

Hornets family, we want to share some tragic news with you. This past weekend a former Hornet, Caitlyn Po***ck, lost her life in a car accident. Caitlyn cheered with the Hornets for 7 years and most recently was cheering with the Mill Creek HS and Atlanta Allstars competition cheer squads. Please join us as we pray for peace and comfort for Caitlyn's mother and father Carol and Paul, and for her brother, Paul Jr. Caitlyn was just 16 years old.

Our Senior Hornet Emily Torres, was chosen as a 2022 FCC Scholar Cheerleader! What a terrific accomplishment!!

Emily has been a Hornets cheerleader for 7 years, and has excelled in cheer with her sharp motions, dance, tumbling, stunting techinique and abilities as a main base, side base, and backspot. She is a 2017 FCC Ruby National Champion, 2019 FCC Emerald and Emerald Prep National Champion, 2017 and 2019 FCC Grand Champion,and two time Georgia State Champion. She has served as a volunteer with the Hebron Platinum Hornets special needs squad.

Emily is a member of All State Chorus, and she made the highest level of choir for high school where she is a soloist.

Along with her master works performance, she is on the Principal's Honor Roll, and maintains a 4.0 GPA.

We are so proud of our FCC National Champions who not only hit zero on day one but also hit zero on day two!!

You all put on an extraordinary performance and left it all on the mat today! We could not have asked for more! AWESOME Job Ladies!!

This week our Georgia State Champions head to Nationals to culminate their terrific season!! Please pray for their safe travels!!
