This planet is absolute magic and we must do everything we can to protect her. Today is the perfect day to make a small change. Start recycling, stop using those plastic grocery bags, and keep on exploring all the beauty this world has to offer us. 🌞✨

Some days finding the strength to open my heart and heal is difficult. I get lost in the stories I tell myself and feel overwhelmed with my negative emotions. Healing isn’t linear and that’s okay. Emotional freedom and healing begins with self reflection and the understanding that some days may be easy while others may be hard. Reminding myself we are all so much more than what we’ve been through and the stories we tell ourselves helps me get through those hard days. 💛

Yoga helps me feel grounded and present.
Life feels like it’s been moving at lightning speed lately and I am in need of some time to slow down, bring myself back to earth, and be here now. Anyone else feeling that way?! If you’re thinking “YES can we please pump the breaks” then come join me in-studio at or on zoom for a class this week.

In yoga, we look to find a balance of effort and ease - sthria sukha asanam (Yoga Sutras of Patanjali, 11.46). This may be one of the fundamental parts of a yoga practice but it is also fundamental in our day to day lives. If you live your life constantly pushing yourself, never taking a break, and living by the pressure of deadlines you will miss out on some of life’s greatest moments. With that being said, we also cannot live in a constant state of ease because without movement, growth, and pressure we may get stuck in a rut or miss out on our greater purpose. So go out and achieve your goals, move mountains, do dope things but take time for yourself to have fun and relax. Life’s more awesome when we can find the balance between both 🤩🏂🧘♀️
