Anyways UNIQUE is said a few times during the song Alien Superstar and it really got me to thinking about how special we all are. Do you realize you are the only one who is just like you? Do you know what makes you unique? If you don't that's okay. But....you really should know what makes you special. Why? I'll tell you why. Because when you are having those really bad days, when you are not feeling not so confident you need to think about what makes you special, what makes you YOU!
By the end of our newest event, Twerk Your Magic, you will know exactly what makes you unique. You will know exactly what to do when you are feeling down or bad. You will know how to rock the world in any situation. Can't wait to see you there!

How Pole Changed My Relationship with My Body It’s the toughest sport you’ll ever try.
Today I'll be answering the question "Can pole dancing help me lose weight?"
Yes but....keep reading lol
I call my picture on the left (2008ish) my "Flint Fat Suit" I was living in Flint, Michigan at the time and there wasn't much to do other than eat, drink, and have s*x, so I gained A LOT of weight. I didn't even notice how much weight I was gaining and chopped it up to mid-20s stress (that quarterlife crisis got me good!) I had a Friday night routine of getting a Digorno pizza, Mountain Dew, a bag of Smartfood White Cheddar Popcorn, and then sitting on my couch watching Say Yes to the Dress. The other days of the week were very similar. I was not living right at all.
Eventually I decided to get my life together and started taking fitness classes such as Zumba and kickboxing. And then came pole dance (2010). The picture on the right is from my second pole dance photoshoot.
By the time that photoshoot happened I was a different person. I loved pole dancing so I was going consistently and also taking chair dance classes. Because I noticed I was getting stronger and not feeling so blah, I stopped my Friday night routine (and all the other bs I was doing) because I didn't want to ruin my results and quite frankly I would be too tired to eat bad lol. I started to be waaaay more conscious of what I was eating which helped me start to lose weight! Goodbye bad habits!
So yes pole dancing can help you lose weight especially if you are consistent but generally you are going to have to change some of your current lifestyle to really see the physical change. I know you can do this!

The 10 Year Challenge pole dance edition!! I remember wanting to learn this move sooooo bad and when I finally got it you couldn’t tell me anything!! It’s now one of my favorite things to do! This is just a reminder that pole dance isn’t just something you can accomplish in just a few classes. If pole dance is something you really want to do expect to spend weeks, months, hell even years getting something right. It will be worth it for the sense of accomplishment ✨✨✨
