We are so excited to have former Panther Travis Williams joining the men's basketball staff! Williams scored more than 1,000 career points at G State. He graduated in 1995 before earning a Master's in Sports Administration at GSU in 1999 and then becoming a member of legendary coach Charles “Lefty” Driesell’s staff. !

Spotted in the Spring 2016 edition of The Mercerian- Former Georgia State Women's Basketball Head Coach (1994-2010) Lea Henry. Coach Henry won 245 games in 16 years at GSU, guiding the Lady Panthers to three NCAA appearances as well as four postseason berths and four 20-win seasons during her tenure.

We would like to congratulate former Georgia State football QB/WR Kelton Hill on his graduation from North Central Georgia Law Enforcement Academy (class # 297). We wish Kelton the best as he begins his career in law enforcement.

Hill was a four year letterwinner as a wide receiver and quarterback (2010-13) and is a member of GSU's inaugural team. Kelton holds numerous GSU career records.

Congratulations to Georgia State Men's Basketball Assistant Coach Everick Sullivan (April 2011-April 2016) who has accepted the position of head coach for the men’s basketball program at Lenoir-Rhyne University in Hickory, North Carolina. The Bears are a Division II school that play in the The South Atlantic Conference. The LR Men’s Basketball Team ended the 2016 season with a 21-10 record, advancing to the NCAA Division II Regional Finals for the first time in school history. GSU Panther Pride wishes Coach Sully great success in his new position at LRU.

"Sullivan’s impact with GSU's team was immense. He was instrumental in guiding the Panthers to 87 wins, the most in any four-year stretch in program history. His tenure was highlighted this past year by a 25-win season, Sun Belt regular season and tournament titles, along with a win over No. 3-seed Baylor in the NCAA tournament as the Panthers advanced to the third round for just the second time in school history. The Panthers have won 25 games in each of the last two seasons, one of just 20 programs to accomplish the feat. Georgia State has won back-to-back Sun Belt regular season championships, going along with a tournament title in 2015 and a Postseason NIT appearance in 2014."

We need all of our fellow alums to come support Coach Ron Hunter (10-3, 3-1) at tonight's annual 'Barefoot for BareFeet Game' against ULM, 7:30pm.
