FALL BREAK IS OVER… LET’S PLAY BALL!⚾️

Fall break gave our Yorkville baseball families a little time to relax, recharge, and enjoy some extra family time. A few of our teams even squeezed in some practices—but one thing was missing… GAME DAY!😎

Well, the wait is almost over! 🙌🏼

The bats are ready.
The gloves are ready.
The cleats are ready.
And our players are READY TO GET BACK ON THE FIELD! 🔥

This week, the Yorkville baseball teams are back in action, and we can’t wait to see our Huskies, Yardbirds, Pirates, and Dirt Diggers back under the lights and between the lines! ⚾️

Get ready for another week of big hits, great plays, dirty uniforms, loud cheers, and all the baseball fun we’ve been missing! ❤️💙

LET’S GET BACK TO BASEBALL, YORKVILLE! ⚾️

⚾️THINGS YOU ONLY SEE AT 4U BASEBALL…⚾️

The 4U Dirt Diggers officially played their FIRST GAME of the season tonight, and if you’ve never experienced 4U baseball… you simply don’t know what you’re missing. 🤣

At 4U, you can expect to see:

⚾️ A batter who absolutely crushes the ball… and then forgets to run.
⚾️ A runner who takes off toward THIRD because apparently we’re trying a new strategy.
⚾️ A player stopping mid-play because they found something VERY interesting in the dirt.
⚾️ The entire team chasing the same ball like it’s the last piece of candy on Earth.
⚾️ Coaches giving directions while 12 tiny people stare back like, “Yeah… we’re gonna need you to explain that again.” 🤣
⚾️ Parents simultaneously yelling “RUN!” and “STOP!” while the child does neither.
⚾️ And, of course, Dirt Diggers living up to their name.🏜️

There may have been a few runs, a few outs, a whole lot of dirt, and approximately zero moments of knowing exactly what was going on…but there were BIG smiles, lots of laughs, and some seriously adorable baseball players out there! And judging by tonight… this season is going to be one heck of a ride. 👏

PLAY BALL… and somebody please keep an eye on the snacks!🍿🤣⚾️

WHAT A GAME!!!

The 10U Huskies battled all the way to the very end and came through with a 5-4 WALK-OFF WIN tonight! ⚾️💥

Talk about keeping us on the edge of our seats! These boys never gave up, kept fighting, and found a way to get it done when it mattered most. 💪🏼🔥

A little late-game drama, a whole lot of heart, and a walk-off finish! 🙌🏼🐾

WAY TO GO, 10U HUSKIES!
