This photograph captured Mayor Andre Dickens walking behind our grandson, Epic, at the Spur Trail Ribbon Cutting. We never imagined it would become the inspiration for the incredible mural by Shanequa Gay that now welcomes visitors to The BELT Hub.

Having the opportunity to share this story with Mayor Dickens and take a photo with him in front of the mural was a true full-circle moment.

It’s a reminder that the moments we capture today can become the stories that inspire tomorrow.
