“I’m extremely excited to be back coaching with Old White and can’t wait to get to work. The club has grown tremendously over the last few years and is poised to be extremely competitive going forward. The community at Old White has always been special, and that has only strengthened over time. We have an incredible group of players, coaches, supporters, and family members this year, and I can’t wait to see where this season takes us.”

A new era begins.

We are proud to announce Matt Heaton as our new D1 Men’s Head Coach!
Bringing unmatched international caliber and relentless work ethic to our sidelines, Matt represents the highest standard of coaching available anywhere in the South.
🏉 The Resume Speaks for Itself:

- Captain & Veteran, Rugby Canada Men’s 15s National Team
- 2019 Rugby World Cup Competitor
- Major League Rugby (MLR) Single-Season Tackles Record Holder

From his roots in Quebec across the pitch in the UK, the MLR, and right here in Atlanta, Matt’s rugby journey spans the globe:
- Chateauguay Valley Regional HS 🇨🇦
- John Abbott College 🇨🇦
- Ormstown RFC 🇨🇦
- Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue RFC 🇨🇦
- Otley RUFC 🇬🇧
- Darlington Mowden Park RFC 🇬🇧
- RugbyATL 🇺🇸
- Rugby FC Los Angeles 🇺🇸
- Atlanta Old White RFC 🇺🇸

Our goal is simple: offer our players the highest level of development, strategy, and coaching the South has to offer. Matt embodies that standard.
We’re setting the bar for rugby in the South. Welcome to the family, Matt!
