Our very own Beene Grace catching a dance with the incredible Juan Calderon on the social floor at ! 💃🏽🕺🏽

Because the experience isn’t only about what happens on the performance stage — it’s about getting on that social flowwwww, connecting, enjoying the music, and DANCING. ✨

Grace was representing PBDC beautifully while soaking up everything the congress experience had to offer. ❤️

Before there was Proyecto Barrio Dance Company as you know it today, there was a community that believed in us called 'AfriSalsa'.

Thank you, Anana Harris Parris, for trusting us to teach our very first public salsa classes at the Y on Campbellton Road under the AfriSalsa brand. You became part of the pathway that led us here.

This throwback captures one of our annual End-of-Year Showcase preparations. The choreography was created by Anana, whose countless hours of coaching, mentorship, and attention to detail shaped far more than this performance—they helped shape the dancers performing it.

Our purpose never lets us forget where we came from—and our responsibility is to leave the pathway stronger than we found it.
