What got me started!
My father bought me my first BB gun when I was 8 years old (now don't get Horrified back in the 60’s that was NORMAL) and I was hooked. When I was 12 I bought a replica 1911 and started taking it disassembling and assembling it. I traded it for a R***r Single Six with a school friend and gave to my older brother (7 years) to hold for me funny I never got it back? Anyway went into the Army after High school with romantic dreams of going Special Forces injured my leg in Airborne and that killed that dream ( Army wasn’t romantic at all). I have been an NRA member since 1981 and been teaching target shooting longer than that, I started teaching Concealed Carry Weapons classes professionally in 2018. Stressing Safety first and foremost, I teach self-defense, personal protection, concealed carry and marksmanship classes for handguns, I also teach defensive Rifle and Shotgun marksmanship and handling. I am a NRA Certified Instructor in Basic Pistol a Range Safety Officer and Chief Range Safety Officer. I am also cross trained by the USCCA as a Certified Instructor for Basic Handgun, Concealed Carry and Home Defense, a Certified Gunsmith, Graduate of Colorado School of Trades, a G***k Certified Armorer all models and a Sig Sauer Certified Armorer – models M400/ M16/M4/ AR15/ MCX/ P320. I recently completed the American Heat Association First Aide, AED and CPR.
