Our varsity team finished second this week in AAU State.

In the Spring when tournaments on an hour schedule some officials will not call hand checking at all. That is bad for the devoloment of players and bad of the games. A good way of handling I have seen from some veteran officials. In the early part of the game they are saying hands off hand off. If it continues they will call it. Usually it then stops. Some coaches train their players to hand check but those players usually struggle in school ball. It gives them an unfair advantage and in the long run bad for the game.

Many teams say there are an AAU club but they maybe a money grab but AAu clubs that have been around for awhile have success because they do what they promise. Our clubs has both strong and developing players,

I bet most of these negative comments are about teams or clubs that are not true AAU clubs
