Get up, turn on the music, and dance!

I didn’t find Zumba 16 years ago—Zumba found me. Over the past four years, I have tried to walk away several times because of work, surgery, and moments when self-doubt crept in. But each time, God said, “Not yet.”

I’m so grateful I listened to His voice and remembered that teaching Zumba has never been just about me. It is about using my gift to uplift, inspire, and bless others. Throughout this journey, God has allowed me to touch the lives of hundreds of women—one song, one step, and one dance at a time.

Zumba has blessed me beyond measure, but its greatest purpose is giving me the opportunity to be a blessing to others.

And that is why I dance. 💃🏾❤️

This November, I will celebrate 16 incredible years of teaching Zumba!

For 16 years, I have welcomed women onto the dance floor—after long days at work, before busy Saturdays filled with cleaning, errands, and taking children from one activity to the next, and during seasons of disappointment and hardship.

No matter what life brings, they meet me on the dance floor—and for 55 minutes, they have permission to let it all go and simply dance.

After facing challenges of my own, I thought it might be time to put away my Zumba shoes. But God reminded me that my work is not finished. I still have more joy to share, more women to encourage, and more lives to uplift—one dance at a time.

Join me this Saturday at 9:00 AM for 55 minutes of dancing like nobody is watching. Come release the stress, embrace the joy, and take a moment to simply do you!

Let’s dance! 💃🏾❤️
