Landu Kialeuka Tiya, the mother of my star pupil Biaya Tiya set up the Atlanta Fencers’ Club Foundation to keep Fencing alive on the Southside of Atlanta. I am serving as Maestro Emeritus, and doing some pro bono teaching. The AFCF meets Monday and Wednesday evenings 6pm -9pm and Saturdays 2pm -4:30. We are currently meeting at the Eastlake YMCA Youth and Teen Center, 1765 Memorial Dr SE, Atlanta.

I decided to retire and close the Atlanta Fencers’ Club permanently. Thanks so much to all who have supported AFC!
Atlanta Fencers' Club is one of the oldest and most respected clubs in the Southeast, led by Maestro Gene Gettler. Unfortunately, COVID has helped Maestro Gettler to decide to retire and close the club permanently.
The Atlanta Fencers’ Club is closed until further notice due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
