Hey you.
When was the last time you you tended to your body? Slowed & deepened your breath? Dropped your shoulders & reveled in your power?
I'll be at the Trans Day of Visibility Cookout on Saturday, holding a soft little place to land, move, breathe, or just rest.
If it's been a while since we've practiced together, come find me & stay as long as you need. 💜✨️

Over a year post-op, and I'm still coming back into my body. It's been a long time since I've taught at a hospital, and I'm grateful to do it in a capacity that serves nurses.
Careworkers, especially the night nurses are universally underappreciated.
Filling that need at least for one location feels right on time. We need care at the root of all this.

Last month, I got the chance to lead a sunrise yoga session at the 's Annual Meeting. Timely space considering the family archical work I've activated. We rose out of to watch the sun peeking over Atlanta.
One of the guys shared that he was just stepping into 50 (if I remember correctly) and just getting back to his yoga practice, happy for an amazing session to start his new year. Love hearing these bits & pieces.
ALSO! I have merch! Grab the shirt or the yoga mat equivalent: https://www.osatyam.com/
Or stick to what you know & grab your favorite shea whip! 😊✨️

Heyyy! How you holding up? How is the year treating you?

And bring any AMAB folks in your life that would need to hear & learn more perspectives on this pervasive issue! We need understanding between us all in order to show up right for the folks we love.
Thank you, for leading these Birthwork is Healing sessions!

I could list out the things that Atlanta, Conyers, Decatur, and surrounding areas have been through in the past 20 days. I could list the places rocked by recent natural disasters, or the assaults on our rights across the country.
But we can only hold so much. Here's a little herbal support to help you as you navigate the rough times.
Please support your local herbalists, co-ops, and tea shops as you source herbs for these blends. 💜✨

This was my 2nd or 3rd yoga session with after my surgery in June. I took some time for what my body needed at the end of our session with .
Deep squats, like , are a powerful way to open the hips, strengthen the lower body, and improve mobility in the ankles and spine. It also supports digestion, which has been a plus since my surgery was multi-fold.
Any hip opener is good for nurturing the , the seat of reproductive organs. This one releases stored trauma & stress in the hips and pelvis.
