I am fuming. š¤ The electrician charged me $600 to move this switch and outlet. He screwed these pieces of drywall back in and said, 'I'm a sparky, not a taper. My job is done.' 𤬠He left massive gaps and didn't even sink the screws! Is this industry standard or is he just lazy? I feel like I just paid to have my wall ruined.Any guidance would be appreciated, and best wishes for the holiday season..š ļøš š

I am sick to my stomach. I realized that to fix these patches, someone is going to have to sand this entire wall, which means my brand-new electrical panel is going to be filled with fine white gypsum dust. Iām demanding the drywaller wears a hazmat suit and uses a vacuum-sealed tent for every square inch of sanding or Iām calling the fire marshal. He called me "difficult." Am I overreacting??Any guidance would be appreciated, and best wishes for the holiday season..š ļøš š

The plumber finished the rough-in and said this wall needs to stay completely open for 6 to 8 months so the PVC glue can "off-gas" properly. He said if I put drywall up now, the trapped fumes will dissolve the pipes and cause a methane explosion. My wife is skeptical, but he's the professional, right? I trust the process, even if I have to look at this rat's nest while I eat breakfast. Any guidance would be appreciated, and best wishes for the holiday season..š ļøš š
