As a personal trainer, I want to practice what I preach. So, I stress strength training as an effective way to change body composition. After an 8-week strength training regimen, I am successfully building strength, muscle, and burning fat. I haven’t lost any weight; I actually gained. But I’ve effectively met one of my goals of improving my body composition. I’m still working, but I’m pleased with what’s happening. Especially doing it all while navigating cortisol levels and keeping my hormones balanced! It’s hard work, but I’m worth it!
