A 🕸️ STUDIO UPDATE 🕸️ for you, our Coven!

All Saturday and Sunday classes have been cancelled for this weekend, but for the most enchanting reason! We are kicking off our inaugural YOGA TEACHER TRAINING and getting this incredible group oriented to our sweet practice space.

We are absolutely thrilled to be creating The Yoga of Sustainability & Belonging alongside these magical, multifaceted, future TEACHERS. We cannot wait to see how they emerge.

All weekend classes will resume next week!

And… this beginning occurs at a most auspicious time. This Monday, October 19th is our second birthday! We have been Conjuring welcoming, intimate, misfit, mystical practices with YOU by our side for two trips around the sun now. It is all for and because of you.

FULL MOON YOGA & RITUAL
Yoga at 6p ✨ Ritual at 7p
Registration through Mindbody

The Thursday closest to each Full Moon, our weekly, 6p class with Laura Joplin becomes Full Moon Yoga, themed around the potent symbolism that informs this culmination each month.

After class, you’re invited to stay for a 30-minute Full Moon Ritual, where you’ll learn more about the astrological and cultural symbols of this Moon, dive into thematic self-inquiry, burn what you’re releasing as the Moon cycle completes, and meditate with your community to absorb & integrate.

Come for one or both. This month:

The Hunter’s Moon means the field is clear after Harvest, so we’re better able to see what we’re hunting (our resources) to sustain us for the dark days ahead.

Samhain, All Hallows’ Eve, means the viel between life and death is thin, so the distinction between physical and spiritual is less pronounced. Another resource.

The constellation of Ta**us, an Earth sign, serves to remind us of our sensory experience, keeping us steady as the seasons and spirits move.

We are less than 2 weeks away from the start of our 200 hr yoga teacher training. Our focus rests on inclusive | trauma informed practices AND alignment based practices in equal measure because we believe both can live inside of ANY yoga class.

Holding this manual in my hands feels wonderful. I’m very proud of what we’ve made.

Thank you to Missy Goss-Coln, MBA, RYT & Laura Joplin for your wise & thoughtful contributions, Line___Heavy for these bad-ass illustrations, Clay Skinner for your design skillzz, & Barbara Tushbant for your proofreading prowess!

In order for us to convey how important it is to be exactly YOU as a teacher WE have to be exactly US as a teaching staff, hence the final sentence in our manual.

Dearest Conjurers!

She’s here! The Season of the Witch! And here is your invitation to join us in celebration of the Witch’s New Year!!

Samhain, the third harvest, is a time for deep old magick. Our ancestors are close, the air is thick with enchantment, and witches gather to celebrate personal and communal power.

In this ritual, we’ll share the significance of & the correspondences for The Witch’s New Year. Together, we will BUILD an altar for our ancestors & BLESS it. We’ll ask Hekate to hold Her torch high so that we see what is necessary to see. There will be spells, lore, & plenty of cackling!

We’ll then commune together, drink hot c***r and create BESOM BROOMS.

Please bring a picture of an ancestor/s or a relic representing your lineage or loves (including fur babies) who have passed on. This is a time when our dead are close by and honoring them can feel so meaningful.

We figured if a Maypole fit well in our space, we could hang half a fig tree to hang our wishes & releases!

And that broom spell… 🧹🧹🧹

Our Mabon ritual was ABUNDANT & smelled as beautiful as it looked! Every herb in the garden enchanted our altar.

Thank you, Conjure Coven! Another year of wheel turns in the cauldron. We are looking forward to celebrating Samhain October 24th!

We are so very proud of our STAR, Laura! Today she passed her LCSW exam!! (we are not surprised but we absolutely want to celebrate this accomplishment!)

She is part of what holds our community together and we are bursting w pride. 🔥
