Atlanta Mahjong Studio

Atlanta Mahjong Studio is a dedicated mahjong teaching studio and community space in Chamblee, GA. It is the first and only permanent space for mahjong in the Atlanta Metro. We offer classes and lessons in Hong Kong, Japanese (Riichi), Filipino and MCR mahjong along with playing opportunities (leagues), tournaments, and table reservations (including American mahjong). While mahjong in Atlanta has typically meant tracking down a meetup group at a restaurant, rec center or someone’s home, AMS is open weekly with all fully automatic tables, it’s own schedule, and a door that’s always in the same place. Ribbon Cutting with the City of Chamblee to celebrate the new location of the studio! 💖✨🀄️ A year ago, I opened Atlanta Mahjong Studio on International Mahjong day because I wanted a place to play mahjong. Today, I am amazed at the community we have built together and the new friends I have made. The studio is a space for friends to gather, for tiles to get played, and for stories to be shared. Here’s to cake in our new gathering space! 💖✨🎂
