Another phenomenal weekend of training

It’s always slightly bittersweet when I get to travel to do Krav Maga training. That part of my life has passed, and though I cling to it, and I try to stay as connected to it as possible, it is challenging. I don’t have access to the quality level of training that I did in the past, but I desperately want to maintain the mentality and the skill set that the system and the many amazing instructors and training partners who helped me along the way, have given me.

But, in the moment, when I am there, surrounded by elite level instructors, former training partners, other practitioners I have met along the way, and the new friends I make every single time I am with my chosen family… it bring me a level of joy that is hard to describe.

It’s just a reminder to me that everything in life doesn’t have to be perfect. It just has to ‘be’

I definitely missed getting pictures with some people that I feel very close to and for that I apologize and I will not make the same mistake next time.
