Thinking back to our End-Of-Year Showcase this past April 💃🕺 EBDC celebrated the hard work and commitment of our dancers and community members through a night of social dancing and performances!

From kpop covers to competition routines, flips and stunts to chair dances and special surprises, we couldn’t have thought of a better way to end the year.

Our last, but certainly not least, senior shoutout goes to Madeliene! Madeliene is our outgoing president and has been a member of EBDC since her freshman year. She is graduating with her Bachelors in Human Biology and Anthropology.

Madeliene is the glue of Emory Ballroom - covering behind the scene logistics for competitions and open classes, hyping up our newcomer dancers no matter the occasion, and filling in any role that is needed (including as last minute leads during competitions). When she’s not driving cross town to Georgia Tech for TBA practices or choreographing some special routines with Wesley….she will probably be crashing the Emory WiFi uploading 40 million photos and videos to our Google photo albums - we truly don’t know what we do without you, Madeliene.

After undergrad, Madeliene will be heading to London to pursue her Masters of Science in Global Health and Development! We will miss you, your dedication, and heartfelt love to this club tremendously and cannot wait to catch you on our screens come Blackpool season 😍

As the year comes to a close, we are saying goodbye to one of our lovely seniors, Kaley.

Thank you Kaley for your phenomenal work running our social media platforms, sending out those gorgeous weekly newsletters, and stepping in as a lead—whether in our lessons or at socials or at competition—whenever we were short. We truly appreciate the love and creativity you’ve brought to Emory Ballroom 🩵🩵

After graduation, Kaley will be pursuing a Masters in Linguistics at Boston University. We are so proud of you Kaley and cheering you on constantly 🫶🏼🫶🏼
