We are excited to welcome back Laura Boisson this year at Steeplechase Stampede!

With 20 years of experience in the pet care industry, Laura Boisson has spent the last 6 years channeling her creativity by way of making collars, leashes, and seatbelts that last. By utilizing versatile materials like Paracord and Biothane, Laura creates woven products that are colorful and stylish, while also being durable, easy to clean, and useful in emergency situations. Laura makes her products with all breeds and sizes in mind. Rescued is her favorite breed!

Although Steeplechase Stampede is a dog event, we have a “NO GREET” POLICY! If you see a dog or team with a 🛑RED BANDANA*🛑 they are reactive and need more space!

(*bandanas will be available at packet pick up & registration)

Dogs must be kept on a leash and under owner/handler’s control at all times both in the parking lot and event area. Dogs should NOT interact with other dogs or humans while attending our event. MUZZLES are allowed and can be worn on course as long as the dog has ample room for panting.

Please email [email protected] if you have a reactive dog and are planning to attend so we can best prepare for you and your dog.

What makes canicross gear different from regular walking or running gear?

Proper canicross equipment is specifically rated for pulling!

Your dog’s harness, bungee line, hands-free waist belt, and every connector or attachment point between them should be designed to safely withstand the force created during a pulling sport. Standard walking equipment may not be designed for that level of force and could restrict movement, cause discomfort, or fail under pressure.
