Tonight our season ended; much sooner than we had hoped. Our defense was great, pitching was awesome but we couldn’t put the runs across the board. We lost to Newnan 2-1 and 2-0. Heartbreaking for this team and for our seniors. What a great ride it has been for Katelynn, D’Myia, Sidney, Chasidah and Hayden. Thanks for a great 4 years. We wish you all the best❤️

The rain held off and the Lady Rams beat the Broncos 9-3 to secure the 3 seed in the region. Elle Standard did an amazing job pitching tonight, defense was solid and the bats were on fire. Great job, Rams!

Newton Lady Rams Varsity Blows Out Brookwood Broncos Varsity Thanks to Big Third Inning

Newton Lady Rams Varsity defeated Brookwood Broncos Varsity 9-3 on Thursday thanks to a timely six runs in a big third inning. Kyla Stroud, L. Fortex, D’myia Jackson, and Hayden Pearson all contributed in the big inning with RBIs.

Newton Lady Rams Varsity got things moving in the first inning, when Katelynn Anglin singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run.

Newton Lady Rams Varsity notched six runs in the third inning. Stroud, Fortex, Jackson, and Pearson all moved runners across the plate with RBIs in the inning.

Elle Standard was the winning pitcher for Newton Lady Rams Varsity. The fireballer lasted seven innings, allowing eight hits and three runs while striking out four.

Rachel Clark took the loss for Brookwood Broncos Varsity. The pitcher allowed eight hits and eight runs over two and two-thirds innings, striking out one.

Newton Lady Rams Varsity totaled 14 hits. Anglin, Stroud, Pearson, and Sidney Lindsey all managed multiple hits for Newton Lady Rams Varsity. Stroud and Anglin each managed three hits to lead Newton Lady Rams Varsity.

Brookwood Broncos Varsity scattered eight hits in the game. Olivia Rogozinski, Thalia Martin, and L Sullivan each racked up multiple hits for Brookwood Broncos Varsity. Brookwood Broncos Varsity was sure-handed and didn't commit a single error. Hillmer made the most plays with five.

The Lady Rams will be trying to wrap up their final region game tonight to determine their seeding in the playoffs. Hopefully the rain holds off.
The game has moved to the Miracle League field at City Pond Park in Covington.

Another region win tonight for the Lady Rams as they bested South Gwinnett 12-3. Hayden Pearson got the win on the mound. Bats stayed hot with multiple hits from Gerielle Dumervil, Hayden Pearson, Cheyenne Worley, Katelynn Anglin and Aaliyah Wilcox.

The Lady Rams lost a heartbreaker tonight, 12-11, to the Parkview Panthers. They gave it their all, coming back in the top of the 7th to take the lead, but Parkview’s bats stayed hot. This team is resilient and keeps on grinding! Very proud of the effort and attitude tonight.
