Rain or shine, every Saturday the South Fulton Running Partners show up to run and fellowship. This Saturday was no different, even with the remnants of Hurricane Isaias moving through Atlanta. 🌧️🏃🏾‍♂️🏃🏾‍♀️

The skies were gray, but the smiles and fellowship were bright! We got our miles in, checked on one another, and kept our Saturday tradition going strong.

Every mile is better with good company. Here’s to showing up for ourselves—and for each other. 💛👟

This weekend, we didn’t just get our pavement miles in we got ROOTED in our community. From the road to the soil, we showed up at the Mechanicsville Community Garden to clean, plant, and help grow fresh food for our community. Because giving back is part of the journey. Our Sunday Service was FOR US, BY US.
Our feet on the pavement.
Our hands in the soil.
Our hearts in the community.
ROOTED in purpose. ROOTED in culture. ROOTED in US.

The crisp fall temperature had us reaching for those layers, but the hearts were WARM. Great miles, even better fellowship, and of course… PLENTY of food.
This week’s theme was the “Loop Da Loop Run,” and we had a great time looping through the route, logging miles, and enjoying every step.

SHOWED OUT! Yesterday’s South Fulton Running Partners South Fulton Running Partners Run Summit was one for the books! The energy, fellowship, and love from our running community were unmatched!

A HUGE THANK YOU to Atlanta Run Club ™, Black Men Run Atlanta, Black Girls RUN!, Atlanta Tri Sisters, Muslimahs Endure, RUN-N-BRUNCH, Movers And Pacers™, and Atlanta Track Club for showing up and showing OUT! Your presence made the summit special, and together, we represented STRONG!

We were blessed with a powerful message from our health professionals, who shared valuable ways to keep our MIND, BODY and SPIRIT FIT! Because running is more than miles it’s about community, wellness, and lifting each other up!

Everyone in the Atlanta running community knows Tes Sobomehin Marshall, Race Director, Founder & Director of RunningNerds LLC, and Founding Partner of The Race, the largest Black-owned, Black-supported half marathon in the world!

Listen as she explains the connection between the Running Summit and the genesis of The Race.

This year’s Summit route was intentionally designed to feature portions of The Race route and take us through historically Black neighborhoods including:
