Lyair came in yesterday afternoon and grabbed the last of the live clam we had in stock and landed a beautiful striper in the surf! Fingers crossed we will be getting more live clam in tomorrow! The shop has been busy all day with some boats prepping and getting ready for the upcoming offshore season buying ballyhoo and rigging supplies, we're taking care of reels for a bunch of boats so if you need any line done whether it be new top shots or all new hollow core and line give us a shout we would be glad to help you with anything you need.

Good morning everyone, boaters are taking advantage of this beautiful Saturday to hit the bay in search of flounder, minnows are the bait of choice today along with gulp. Land based anglers fishing the rocks and beach are grabbing salted clam for right now as we wait for a live clam delivery which will most likely be tomorrow. From reports that I received from boats that head offshore and to the southern canyons reported excellent bluefin fishing with large/medium ballyhoo being the size bait they preferred also tails like Ron z and Wolfpack work well too. We are loaded up on Baitmasters ballyhoo and also triple crown ballyhoo both companies supply excellent quality baits. Cotton candy colored heads and green were popular and we highly reccomend the tn-tackle heads or Wolfpack and the original Joe Shutes. When I receive some reports from today I will be sure to post them up. Have a great day out on the water and if you need anything stop on by and we would be more than glad to help out!

Good fishing down south in the outer banks Carly A Sportfishing had a great day yesterday with nice sized yellowfins! If you have the itch and want to take a little road trip give them a shout. Hopefully their fishing down south is a good sign for us up here!

Tony stopped in yesterday to grab some live clam yesterday afternoon and put it to good use. First cast he had an oversized bass that unfortunately got away right at the rocks, then next cast he nailed a nice black drum. Nice work Tony! The fishing still remains good with stripers, blues, and drum all hanging around.

Good morning everyone sorry for the delayed report but the shop has been non stop busy since opening up this morning, most anglers are either heading out to the surf and inlet with live clam to target stripers or throwing lures for bluefish. And boaters are grabbing minnows and spearing to hit the back bays for flounder. Yesterday Pete, Josh, and Kevin made a trip out for tile fish and had some real nice goldens and a couple blue lines. So far today Steve has caught and released two stripers that were both short a 25 and a 27 one was on clam the other a sp minnow. I also have some other photos from the past couple days that I haven't had a chance to post. Rome taking a nap with a bluefish, and Moises and his friends with a nice pup black drum and bluefish. We still have some live clam left and should be getting more today or tomorrow, our lure selection will be stocked back up later today as well. We also just got in some of the quantum merits and some other okuma reels as well. I did receive a partial shipment of the buca glide baits in bone color I didn't even have a chance to hang them on the wall before they started to sell but there are some available with more coming. Shop will be open until 330pm today and back open at 6am tomorrow. Have a great day and get out and fish! crab

Good morning to everyone what a beautiful day today is. The flounder bite is getting better and better each day as the temperatures rise. Many anglers are using minnow and spearing and others are going the soft plastic route. Pictured below is a couple fish Capt Bob from Logos Guide Service had yesterday, all his fish were caught on soft plastic paddle tails scented with pro cure, shedder crab oil has been working as well for an attractant. Anglers that's fished the surf yesterday did ok on the blues throwing sp minnows, bombers, and tsunami tidal minnows. We still have some in stock but we are getting another shipment tomorrow in. A couple bass were caught as well mostly schoolies on live clam which we have. Minnows are swimming in the tank waiting to be a flounders meal. A couple boats ran out to the canyons today to go tile fishing so we will see how they did when they get back. If you are planning to start running offshore for tuna and need any ballyhoo we got in a fresh truck load of Baitmasters of South Florida ballyhoo. They are beautiful looking baits. Have a great day and get out and fish! crab
