Boy mom life in one little moment. 🥹🏒 One minute they’re wrestling, yelling and driving each other crazy… the next, big brother is tying his little brother’s skates. Through all the chaos, they always have each other’s back. These are the moments that get me. ❤️

Apparently being a 2019 now means the roller bag is officially “for little kids.” 😂🏒

So he went into the garage and upgraded himself to a GRIT AirBox bag — which, to be fair, is actually awesome. It weighs basically nothing, all his gear stays organized, and everything actually gets a chance to air out.

The only problem? The bag is approximately the size of the child carrying it. 😂

Watching him proudly haul this giant thing into the rink like a seasoned NHL veteran may be my new favorite part of hockey. No help wanted. No roller bag accepted. Just a tiny hockey player with a VERY big bag and even bigger confidence. 😂💪🏼🏒

The app tracks your shots and breaks down the details so you can actually see what you’re doing well — and where you can improve. Instead of just ripping puck after puck, players can get real feedback, track their progress, and make every shooting session more intentional. 🎯

For young players especially, we LOVE anything that turns extra reps into measurable improvement while keeping training fun and motivating.

There’s just something so special about passing the hockey journey down. 🏒❤️ A few amazing hockey moms and friends passed along gear their kids had outgrown, and with a little seam ripping, a little TLC, and a whole lot of love, it’s ready for its next chapter. 🧵✨

I love that instead of perfectly good team gear being tossed or forgotten, another little hockey kid gets to wear it proudly and continue the journey. So grateful for this hockey community and the moms who keep passing it on. 🔥🏒♻️

First official practice as a full-ice Mite 🥹🏒💙

With a 2019 big brother already living the hockey life, this little guy has been watching from the sidelines and dying to get out there for more. And now it’s finally his turn. 🥹

Born in January 2021 — talk about perfect hockey timing 😉 — and already so excited to skate the full sheet, chase pucks, learn, compete, and be part of it all.

The gear is still a little big, the legs are still little, but the excitement is HUGE. 🥰

First full-ice practice in the books… and the beginning of such a fun little chapter. We can’t wait to watch you make it your own!. 🏒✨

WHO KNOWS A HOCKEY-LOVING INVESTOR?! 😂💰

Because somewhere in New England there HAS to be someone who has spent enough money on youth hockey to finally say:

“You know what? I should just BUY THE RINK.”

A great college friend of mine is the listing agent for the New England Sports Village property in Attleboro, and naturally my hockey-mom brain immediately started imagining what this place could become.

So I may have gotten slightly carried away and created renderings for a whole new vision… 👀

Thoughts from the Hillside Hockey Showcase. 🏒💙

What stayed with me most wasn’t only what happened on the ice—it was hearing current students and alumni describe how Hillside truly changed the trajectory of their lives. The common thread was brotherhood: looking out for the person beside you, putting your teammates first, and learning and growing together. The hockey program even carries a Navy SEAL–inspired mentality that no one faces a challenge alone.

The boys skated alongside Hillside coaches, current students, and alumni who were genuinely happy to take a day out of their summer to support the school. They met Coach Andrew Bates, heard from Wil Nichol, Director of Player Development for the Vegas Golden Knights, and even held a real Stanley Cup championship ring!

As a mom, it was incredible to learn about the opportunities Hillside creates—not only in hockey, but across so many sports, with students continuing on to some amazing prep schools.

And if the financial investment makes you hesitate, don’t let that stop you from exploring the possibility. Hillside works individually with families to help determine what may be possible. Take the tour, ask the questions, and stay open to an opportunity that could truly shape your child’s future. I listened to my mom gut and I’m so happy I did! 💙

🏒🔥 If you have a hockey kid who LOVES to compete, battle and be physical, this camp was such a good one!

Brodie came out of Pro Ambitions Battle Camp in MA saying it was his FAVORITE camp he’s ever done. 🙌 So much 1-on-1 battling, puck competition, shooting, scoring and learning to be confident with contact—plus outdoor agility and training.

I especially loved seeing a place where high-energy kids can channel all that intensity into competing hard, being physical and going after the puck. 💪🏒

Pro Ambitions also has camps throughout Massachusetts during school breaks, nationwide options, and AA/AAA camps for older players with D1-level coaching.

Safe to say… we’ll be back! ❤️🏒

Hockey season countdown is officially ON! 🏒☀️ Only 4 weeks to go, so we kicked things off with a team pool party and a homemade Top Gun ice cream cake! 💙🍦 We made the ice cream from scratch with milk, cream, sugar and blue spirulina, lined the cake with Back to Nature Classic Creme Sandwich Cookies and ladyfingers, then made our own Top Gun stencil and filled it in with chocolate chips. It came out SO cute, the kids loved it, and now we’re officially ready for hockey season! 🏒✈️💙
