It was another great Saturday at the Fruit Jar Junction Farmers Market!

Despite the Texas summer heat, we had a great group of vendors, fresh finds, and plenty of community spirit. Thank you to everyone who came out this past Saturday to shop local, support our vendors, and spend part of your weekend with us. We loved seeing the community come together!

As a reminder, the Fruit Jar Junction Farmers Market takes place the first Saturday of every month, April through November.

Calling all young crafters! Join us for a fun-filled evening of creativity and sewing as kids learn to make their very own pizza plushy โ€” a soft, squishy pillow shaped just like a delicious slice of pizza! This hands-on class is the perfect way for kids to build confidence with a needle and thread while creating a one-of-a-kind keepsake they'll love to show off.

Kids will be guided step-by-step through the sewing process, learning basic techniques in a supportive, encouraging environment โ€” no prior sewing experience required! And what's pizza-making fun without the real thing? We're excited to have Nick's Italian Restaurant providing pizza for all participants to enjoy during class.

This is a wonderful opportunity for kids to unplug, get creative, and spend an evening making new friends while crafting something truly special. Spots are limited, so be sure to reserve your child's place today โ€” we can't wait to see all the adorable pizza plushies they create!

โœจFeatured Vendor of the month: Mum Houseโœจ

Mum House is based out of Aubrey, TX and make one of a kind homecoming mums. Mums are a proud, one-of-a-kind Texas tradition unlike anywhere else in the country! What started in the early 1900s as a simple real chrysanthemum pinned to a dress has blossomed into an elaborate art form โ€” layers of ribbons, bells, trinkets, lights, and glitter, often standing taller than the person wearing them.

Mum House believes mums are more than just an accessory; they're a way to show school spirit, celebrate relationships, and create a keepsake that lasts long after the homecoming game ends.

For Mum House every mum tells a story โ€” from the colors and mascots to the trinkets that reflect a student's interests, activities, and achievements. Whether elegant and understated or bold and over-the-top, each one is a handmade celebration of Texas pride and homecoming spirit.

At Mum House, they love being part of this cherished tradition, helping students and families create a mum that's as unique as they are.

Join us for an upcoming class on sleep and its powerful impact on your daily health! Sleep isn't just rest โ€” it's when our bodies repair, our minds process the day, and our immune systems recharge. Poor sleep has been linked to weakened immunity, weight gain, mood swings, trouble concentrating, and even long-term risks like heart disease and diabetes.

In this class, we'll explore the science behind quality sleep, common habits that quietly sabotage our rest, and simple, practical strategies you can start using tonight for better sleep โ€” and better days. We'll also dive into the power of food and how the right nutrients can naturally support deeper, more restful sleep.

Whether you're a light sleeper, a night owl, or just looking to feel more energized, this class is for you! Come learn how small changes โ€” including what's on your plate โ€” can lead to big improvements in how you think, feel, and function every day.

Date: September 15
Time: 6:30PM - 8:30PM
Location: 226 Countryside Dr. Aubrey, TX 76227
