Our world traveler Nathan “Arson” Larsen was home from Worlds in Australia for 6 hours before heading back to the airport with cruiser in hand to race the Canadian National later that day. With no practice and not knowing what time zone he was in, he snagged a first place through semis in class and brought home three 2nd place finishes on his cruiser. Congrats! 🇦🇺🛫🛬🇺🇸🛫🛬🇨🇦

Small crew made the trek to Humboldt for the state qualifier at Redwood Empire BMX. Racing was great, but soaking in the beautiful space and the cold weather up there may have been the highlight. Always nice to see the Davis, Orlandi, and Kester families. For many of us it’s an annual destination…Between this and the Redwood Roots Enduro the previous weekend, lots of quality time!

Our very own Nathan Larsen saddles up today (for us, tomorrow for him) in Brisbane, Australia. Coverage can be found live on the UCI YouTube channel today at 5 PM PST (and No you don’t have to pay for the FloBikes subscription to watch it 🙄). Thanks to Nathan and his family for accepting the next level commitment to do this race and see how he stacks up against the rest of the world. We will be cheering him and all of our local friends from home!

Terrapin finished up the Coast to Cascade mountain bike series with the Redwood Roots Enduro this weekend in Humboldt. Once again we had a blast over two days with nearly 4500 feet of climbing and even more tallied on the descent. Logan and Kaitlyn both took 1st overall for the series in their respective classes, Harvey smashed it with a hard earned 5th overall in his class, Julian took 2nd, and Giuliana and Becham still hit podiums for the series despite missing this race! Once again thanks to all of the riders and the families. Thanks to the volunteers that make these races happen, already looking forward to it again next year.

The team turned up for the 1st stint of the Woodward Tahoe Mountain Bike Race Series this Sunday and once again impressed, with four podiums and a special shoutout to young Bodhi Aaron for taking 2nd in his first ever mountain bike race for the 6 and under class. The next race in the series is Sunday August 9.

Small turnout for the team this weekend at the North Bay BMX state qualifier. All four of our riders saw the podium on Saturday, with an extra shoutout to Philomena for taking home her 2nd win in the state series in convincing fashion. Thanks to the all riders and their families!

Terrapin rider, 10 year old Expert Nathan “Arson” Larsen, travelled to Ohio for the Stars & Stripes National 🇺🇸🧨 after many months off and was able to bring home a 1st place win on his Vendetta BMX cruiser built by Elite Bicycles! Huge thanks to Al Roybal for always supporting our California riders out on the USA BMX National tour.
