The 2024-2025 Class D Basketball State Champs came together to receive their championship rings. It was wonderful for the team to come together before the boys scatter their separate ways, whether it is off to their respective colleges or new high schools. Despite the school's sad closing, the boys got to celebrate again, receive their rings, see the banner that would hang in the gym, and enjoy each other's company. The rings are beautiful and will certainly be a cherished memory.
This is a sad day for our community. St. Dom's has closed it's doors today, leaving behind tears snd heartbreak. From the ultimately high of the first and only state basketball championship this past March to the ultimately low today of the school's closing due to gross financial mismanagement.. The range of emotions in the last 4 months is beyond words.
On a personal note, as the manager of this page for years, it has been a pleasure to share pictures and updates of this basketball team. From 2018-2025, at least one of my sons have been a varsity member on the team. This program has grown so much over the years and the Saints players will always have the memories of their time together, both on/off the court.
I encourage parents/players to save pictures from the page. The page will be essentially inactive/unmonitored moving forward, but will remain available as a testament/memory of all the fine young men who donned the Saints' black/white over the years, the coaches who guided them, and the fans who supported them. Although the physical brick/mortar of St. Dom's is no more, the spirit/pride of being a Saint will continue.

Taylor Varney and Jonathan Tangilamesu participated in the Class C/D McDonald's All-Star Basketball Game today. In addition, Coach Josh Laprell also had the honor of being selected as the coach for the C/D South squad. Congratulations to all 3 of you on this wonderful accomplishment. Furthermore, Taylor was selected as the MVP for the C/D South team, dropping 20 points in today's game. The North team narrowly defeated the South 83-82.
Great job to all!!!
Hello all! A Basketball State Championship shop has been opened up, a Champion-Shop if you will, for any and all interested! This is also a fundraiser for the basketball program as $3 of each item sold will go directly to the team. There are adult and youth sizes available. Go Saints!
Great interview with Coach Laprell!!!
