The 11th annual Food Truck Fiesta is upon us! This wonderful fundraiser for the Auburn Bike Park will take place Friday, August 23rd at Recreation Park and is FREE TO ATTEND! The festivities begin at 5pm.

On top of having a huge assortment of trucks to choose from (12 this year!), we will be featuring beer from the awesome folks at the Auburn Ale House and excellent wine from local wineries. As always, the event features incredible live music, with One Lost Tree and Elvis Cantu.

3/25 Update: We’re not sure the signs could be any clearer when the park is closed, it means don’t enter. Yet, here are several parents with small kids riding away at the pump track this am. And we hear, over the weekend too. We close the park to allow the dirt to harden a bit after the rain, otherwise the bike tire tracks dry and it creates a hazard for other riders. Sometimes, it’s re-opened a little later than desired, but that’s because there are only us 2 volunteers and very limited ARD staff available to constantly open and close the park (which can take up to 30 minutes each time to do). It takes at least a day for the park to dry out and dirt to harden a bit after rain.

Park will re-open by 2pm today. For those of you who help us out, whether it’s weeding, sweeping, or helping get trespassers out of the park when it’s closed, we thank you! 🙌 We are always looking for dedicated volunteers willing to commit to the work. Hit us up if you have a flexible schedule and can make frequent trips to the park to help us out. Otherwise, donations and helping on volunteer days is always welcomed and greatly appreciated!!

It is with a sad heart that I need to let you know that Mike Thompson passed away this morning. Please keep his family in your thoughts as they process the loss. When I get further information I will pass it along. He will be missed.

This THURSDAY 4/28. starting at 6pm, come eat, drink, grab swag, maybe even take home some sweet gear thanks to our sponsors! Movie starts just after 8pm. We'll have popcorn too. Tickets available in advance via Folsom Auburn Trail Riders Action Coalition - FATRAC for $7 or at the door for $10. Every beer purchased, $1 will go back to the bike park and our local trails thanks to The Station Public House!
