A huge shoutout to the Mens Club at Auburn Golf Course for being recognized as the 2021 Club of the Year by Washington Golf. The award recognizes the membership for their outstanding contributions to their community, the game of golf or the Association. According to Washington Golf: “We’ve heard from members and nominations over the last few years about the quality of leadership and organization from the club. Great communication, well-run events, as well as incredible camaraderie amongst the members. They have grown the club to a staggering 914 active members this year – all while putting on weekly and monthly events, and 13 annual majors. Their competitive season culminates with the Vinny Cup – a year-long FedEx Cup-style championship.”

Heads up golfers...northbound traffic will still be able to access the Auburn Golf Course and southbound traffic will be able to access Mary Olson Farm and the S 277th Corridor Trail.
Beginning July 13 through August 28, King County work to replace a failing culvert on Green River Road will require its closure for a seven-week period between the area of Mary Olson Farm and the Auburn Golf Course.
The current culvert in this area has rusted out and is failing, which can create a risk for collapse of roadways, landslides, flooding, damage to property.
Northbound traffic will still be able to access the Auburn Golf Course and southbound traffic will be able to access Mary Olson Farm and the S 277th Corridor Trail.
You can find out more about the project at https://your.kingcounty.gov/kcdot/roads/cip/ProjectDetail.aspx?CIPID=1136241

Celebrating 50 years as a municipal golf course today! The picturesque Auburn Golf Course is home to golf centered public artworks Swing and Flight by artist Susan Zo***la. Exploring shapes created by the movement of man-made objects, Swing mimics the circular swing of a golf club. Flight is the stylized arch of a golf ball following its trajectory towards the first hole of the course. Full details about the course at www.auburngolf.org/about/history/.
