Ghost Gobbler Calls

Started out the New Year great for 2024. My wife and I caught COVID and we are sicker than dogs. Aches, fevers, Chest congestion and endless hacking coughs. Would not recommend this to anyone. I think next year we will try something different. Everyone else have fun. We will be hibernating for a few weeks.

Turkey Season this year has been a bust for me. I had broken four ribs on my right side a few weeks ago and it has limited on my walking and especially shooting a 12 ga shotgun. I had to stay home this year and live my hunting through all my friends posts on Facebook and personal text and photos sent to me. I was also in the hospital shortly after for Blood clots on both lungs and pneumonia.

The Toms are safe from me this season. At least I can get ahead on my call making. Congrats to all who has tagged a longbeard.

Sorry I have not written awhile. Life's been very crazy these last few Months. My wife got a bad virus infection and ended up in the Hospital for about a week. I also got a bad viral infection and ended up breaking three ribs at the bottom of my right side from coughing. About a week later, I loaded some wood on my truck and had another coughing spell that broke another rib on my right side. Very painful. Finally feeling better and up and about. Got them Deer to finish and some calls to make for Turkey Season.

Been busy with filling orders - Thank you everyone. I've also been tinkering with some high end calls. Here is an example of one of my painted Wing Bone Calls. Carefully fine wrapped with silken thread and hand painted with a Gobbler's Strutting Head. Lanyard has Turkey Track wood burned onto wooden bead with extra bone from wing. High gloss flex coat finish for a glass appearance. Call comes with display storage case. Soft velour interior with magnetic latch to secure it closed. Call is signed. The case is painted with a Wild Turkey scene. Each case will have a different scene hand painted on it. Going to start listing them on my Etsy.com/GhostGobblerCalls store page for only $100. I have 10 of them done so far and will list them all. Check em out.

A lot of people have been asking is I have any stickers or decals. I took the plunge and had 50 made up. If anyone is interested, then they are $3.50 and I'll mail one out to you.

Thank you for checking out my Ghost Gobbler Calls Page. I haven't been too good a host lately. Last year my time was mostly spent with my Beautiful wife Aggie. She was diagnosed with Leukemia in early May of 2016. Our journey together has been with lots of Hospital time and treatments. I'm happy to say that she is now in full remission and is rebuilding her strength. It was a long year for both of us. I am thankful that still have my Love, my Rock, my soul mate and my best friend. I didn't hunt last year, but made up for it this year with two adult Toms. A 2 year old on opening day and a 3 year old on day 2. I have some new ideas for calls and other "Stuff" for this year. Still busy catching up on mounting Tail Fans for local hunters. I've got some new prototypes on Beard boards I'm developing and have come up with an addition you can add to my existing Tail mount kits that lets then hold 9 fans on the one mount. I am also developing a totally new method to preserve your Turkey Beards. This one is BIG and I plan to go all out with soon. This might just put Ghost Gobbler Calls in the spot light. I've been pretty busy this May with selling my Turkey Tail Mount Kits and mounting Tail Feathers for Area hunters. They have all come out looking great and all have been pleased. My Turkey Skull mount kits are selling well. A lot of people have asked me to sell just the resin Turkey Skull that I designed and patented last year, so they can add it to their own mounts and beard boards. Well - here you go! Resin Turkey Skull for all you DIY's out there. Skull comes with template for drilling your own board of 3/4" thick material. Included are the two screws. Skull is pre-drilled and inspected for any defects. $10 ea with $5 shipping. Order more than one and the shipping is only $5 still.
