Had a good day playing the Ridge golf course at the Keaton’s Chipping Away at Childhood Cancer Tournament. Dalton Shrum was about 10” away from a hole in one and winning a new BMW for his mom. Always a good time for a great cause for Keaton’s and all they do to support children with cancer and their families

Meet Dalton – Our New Intern! We’re excited to welcome Dalton Shrum, a senior at Lincoln High School, as the newest intern on the Barnum Mechanical team. With his eyes set on a future as a TIG Welder, Dalton is diving into hands-on experience to kick-start his career in the trades. Since joining the shop crew just a month ago, he shows great potential. Welcome Intern Dalton Shrum to the Barnum Team! When asked what stands out to him about his time at Barnum so far, Dalton shared, “I like the people. They are super nice, helpful, and I have learned a lot.” We’re proud to support the next generation of skilled tradespeople, and we’re glad Dalton is part of the team. Cycleland Speedway Open points race #14 update. This month has been a struggle but it’s forced us to try new things and learn even more. Had a long night again but making progress. It looked good when we loaded it the trailer to go racing but doesn’t look so good when we unload it after racing. Pretty bad when you can’t even make 1 lap in the A Main of the top class and get caught up in someone else’s mess with no where to go. The final race of the season is October 5. Hoping for some better luck in the last race.

Tonight’s Point Race #13 will be FREE to anyone that would like to attend in the Grandstands! It’s a perfect day to come out and check out some intense Outlaw Kart Racing!

Action kicks off with Hot Laps at 5:30 PM, Racing will begin at around 6:30 PM.

So thankful to have Michael Crespo and Mac Motorsports in our corner. They have enough of their own stuff to work on but they’re always there when we need anything. Race weekend coming up, got 4 races left in the summer series at Cycleland Speedway - Chico Ca, 9/7, 9/14, 9/21 and 10/5. I’ll be racing on my 17th birthday 9/14 so come on out and watch. Should be cooler next weekend.

It is with great sadness that Scott Bloomquist has passed away while flying his vintage airplane on the Bloomquist Farm this morning. Love him or hate him Scott was one of the best drivers and innovators of dirt track racing. Prayers to his family
