if you've never watched a baseball game in your life, you still need to watch Ohtani. At least watch last night's highlights. I know people over react to the moment, but this has been my opinion all along - it is Willie Mays, Babe Ruth and Shohei Ohtani in no particular order if he keeps this up and gets back on the mound.

Finally a chance to play another simulated Statis Pro Baseball game and this was the all-time coincidence. A fluke play put my high school classmate Tracy Woodson in the game to deliver the clutch hit to give Orel Hershiser's 1988 Los Angeles Dodgers a huge win over their Southern California rival San Diego Padres. This completed a sweep as the 2020 Dodgers also beat the 1989 Oakland Athletics.Woodson and I attended https://www.facebook.com/bcprva/

My latest simulated game turned into a classic between the 1st No. 1 pick in the WNBA draft Sheryl Swoopes against a future WNBA backcourt from Oklahoma. Lots of strategy and in game adjustments in this one for those who like basketball simulations.

RIP Bill Walton. His 1972 UCLA team won my all-time tournament beating Jalen Brunson's NOVA in my Final Four and then Michael Jordan's 1982 UNC in my championship game.
Obviously focus today is all those who gave the ultimate sacrifice defending our country, but prayers and memories for Bill Walton and all who knew him as well.

I know, dangerous to comment on salary and deal disparity but ... even though I previously ranked A'ja Wilson as greater than even Caitlin Clark Official, its still great for all women's players that Clark is taking WNBA salaries and deals to another level in my humble opinion.
We Rank A'ja as Better Than Caitlin Clark, but Still Glad Clark will Raise all WNBA Salaries and Deals
At this great moment for women's sports, I am sorry about the controversy regarding A'ja Wilson complaining that A'ja Wilson is getting thi...

38 players alive in the NBA playoffs are also on great all-time college basketball teams in our game - led by Virginia Cavaliers 2019 champs and Villanova Basketball 2018 champs. Horford from the 2006 Florida Gators Men's Basketball is still in the playoff 18 years after that first of two Gators titles. Here are all 38.
38 in NBA Playoffs Also On All-Time Great College Team
Only 1% of Division I college players make the NBA, so just sitting on an NBA bench in the playoffs is a huge accomplishment. The following...

Well, the veterans guards continue to be the winners most of the time - included the pick for Alabama to make the Final 4. That win meant this bracket I published before the tournament was worse than on 23,000 ESPN brackets, and better than 22,000,000 (million) for 99th percentile. If the three games left - which count as a ridiculous amount of points, this bracket is among the 25 percent to pick uconn to go all the way so need those 2 wins to stay in the 99th+ percentile because I do not have the other final 4 winner still alive so if Purdue wins that will drop it a little, but if NC State wins that won't hurt me much since so few picked them to make the finals.

The facts are simple. Big East and ACC teams have won 16 of 22 titles this century and were given 8 total bids between them. A total of 7 of the 8 (88%) are in the Sweet 16. The other 8 multi-bid conferences received 38 bids, and 9 have made the Sweet 16 (23%). The Mountain West was ranked 6th but had 6 bids with only 1 making the Sweet 16 - while the Big East was ranked 3rd and only had 3 bids - all of which are in the Sweet 16. For good measure, the last team left out of the Big East - Seton Hall Pirates - just drubbed the last team (91-68) left out of the Mountain West - UNLV which was actually the hottest team in the MWC - having beaten San Diego State and 2 of the other teams getting bids while rising 32 spots in the rankings with a 10-2 mark. Here is the rest ...

You know what I hate - when you interview the next opponent and they are just great people. The Colorado Buffaloes Men's Basketball players all seemed like class acts today. Even stuff I didn't include in the story like da Silva talking about the process of being recruited by zoom meetings from Milan and it being the best decision of his life to come to Colorado.
I wanted them all to be jerks to make it easier to root against them knowing they were evil and must be sent home so Marquette can advance lol.

Good news for my James Madison University fans. The bracket performing the best so far is picking JMU to join its other upsets - teams with not as much talent but with Sr. Guards to control the game and pull upsets.

Alright - 88% of brackets have missed at least one of the first five games - so this is probably my last chance to post a perfect bracket at 5-0 LOL.
