If you haven’t followed the journey these boys have been on you should!

They dominated 8u states last year at ASBS, and went into the 9u Cal Ripken World Series with a 22-1 record!

They battled to a 3-0 loss to Puerto Rico today to send them to the Iron Bracket.

All of us at ASBS are wishing our 9u Maine and 9u New England Champions the best of luck through the rest of their World Series run! ⚾️⚾️

Today’s result wasn’t the one we wanted, as Marshwood fell 3-0 to Puerto Rico, but this team continues to prove exactly what Marshwood baseball is all about.

These boys are competing on one of the biggest stages in youth baseball, battling some of the best 9U teams from around the world. Every inning, every at-bat, and every pitch has been played with heart, hustle, and determination. Their grit has never wavered, and neither has the pride they wear across their jerseys.

Now it’s time to regroup, reset, and get ready for another opportunity.

Our friends at MHAA have invited all ASBS baseball players interested in joining their summer sandlot league. Sandlot baseball starts Sunday August 9th.

Mother Nature stormed through the Auburn Suburban Complex pretty hard!!!

Not to worry however, we’ve moved tonight’s tryouts inside at our offseason home, Ingersoll Indoor Turf Facility!

Tryout time remains 6:00-8:00 and please remember, no metal cleats allowed on the turf. Molded cleats and turf shoes only.

This group of boys worked so hard this past weekend to earn a spot at the 8u Cal Ripken Regional Tournament . If you contribute to their fundraising efforts they would greatly appreciate it. Good luck Andy Valley, we know you will represent Maine well!

Andy Valley came from behind in the top of the 6th inning of the IF game to beat Marshwood 6-5 in the 8u Cal Ripken State Tournament! Congratulations Andy Valley!
