Yearling Program

Our program has 2 openings!

This program is designed for 6-8 year old children that are either riding at a beginner level or are just beginning their journey into horses. Riders are required to lesson 2 times a month, but more is encouraged to see real progress. This program is not just about riding, students will learn about grooming, safety around horses, etc.

This program will be encouraged to participate in our show team activities including team days. In addition I will take my “yearlings” to 2 schooling shows per year (yearlings are only required to participate in one a year) so they can experience what it’s like to show.

Cost of Lessons: $65 per lesson (privates are 45 minutes, tacking up included; group lessons are 1 hour for 2 kids, additional 15 minutes per child added, tacking up included)

Shows: The two shows a year will be at Poplar Place in Hamilton GA (just 55 minutes from Auburn).

Lesson slots for the summer are limited to Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday mornings. In the fall the slots will change to afterschool times.

Just a week out from our Spring Market! Did you know we will have a kid's corner? Featuring arts and crafts to entertain the youngsters so the parents can shop, watch, and socialize.

The kid's corner will have painting, some equine related crafts, a gemstone and archeology dig pit, face painting, and more!
