Free yoga for kids was so much fun and we are grateful to Columbia County Parks, Recreation and Events for inviting us back to teach last month.
We come to this earth with open hearts, with the ability to play, and the courage to love others.
Sometimes life can pull us away from this natural state of being but these little yogis… they are here to remind us how to be.
Try to mirror the little ones. ⚓️

The resistance to online home yoga... why? Why am I being so stubborn?
Fear, prolly.
Scared I will disappoint myself?
Scared I’ll quit in the middle?
It might not feel the same as being in the same room with y’all.
Let me see if I can find some good in home yoga.
Can I cry in child’s pose? Yes.
Can I be still? Yes.
Can I feel better in my body? Yes.
Can I feel a little less lonely? Yes.
Why is that? How can yoga all by myself help ease the suffering of being alone?

The Winter Solstice is here, the season of releasing what no longer serves you. Just write it down, roll it up, and stick it in a pine cone. Light that baby on fire and watch it burn. A small yet mighty fire ceremony 🙏🏽
