I realize what's below certainly aids in achieving more playing time but sometimes despite every positive effort you've made you're not getting more ice time. Take a moment to pull the coach(politely) aside and ask where are my weak points then focus on those. You would be amazed at the results.

Reality check

Happy New Year Maine Blizzard Player's! I was thinking about a February break get together for last year's Blizzard Player's and families. Anyone interested? Player and parent shinny hockey? Pot luck lunch kind of thing? Post your thoughts. What rink, what day and time.

I may be able to convince some of the '99 Blizzard players to show up for shinny.

Merry Christmas! Hope everyone's hockey season is going well. Enjoy the outside ice. Hockey is more fun outside a rink than in it.

Hi Everyone,
Amazingly, our summer is coming to an end and the blizzard season is over for this summer. I wanted to send everyone a note thanking you for a great summer of hockey! I absolutely love working with your kids and hanging out with all the amazing Blizzard parents during the tournaments. I have more fun with this team than any other I work with. Thank you for being part of this team and I hope that you have enjoyed this summer as well. This group of kids is special. They get along so well!! They are really becoming a team. I would love to have these guys together all the time!!! A huge thank you to Eric, Mike and Greg for coaching this year. A great group to be a part of! I hope everyone had a great summer with the Blizzard and that you will consider playing again next summer. Again, thank you for your time and commitment this past summer. Thank you for allowing us to coach your child. The kids this summer were top notch and I am proud to have been a part of this experience for
them.
I hope to see as many of you as I can this winter! I wish you all the best and good luck to all the kiddos on their respective teams this winter. I will be rooting for them all!!!

Maine Blizzard Hockey '06 Team will bring their 3 and 1 record to today's Championship Tournament Game. Game time is 10:30 at Norway Savings Bank Ice Arena. They will be playing against Top Gun. It should be a great game to watch! Good luck player's!
